Below is the description of the workflow for the food delivery module of iEatery:
Step 1: Order placed by customers through iEatery Pro App
Step 2: Restaurant receives an order through the app and either confirm/decline the order, upon accepting- assigns to the driver, prints out the online order, and the regular notification goes to the customer app.
Step 3: After the restaurant accepts an order, 3-4 drivers available near the restaurant get ordered through the drivers’ app. An available driver can accept the order to pick up from the restaurant and deliver it to the customer.
Step 4: Restaurant ready with the order to be handed over to the driver and the customer receives notification ‘Order Dispatched’.
Step 5: Driver on the way to deliver and the customer can see the driver’s location in real-time on the map with time left for the delivery.
Step 5:oOrder is delivered and the order status is changed to ‘Delivered’ as well as the customer is asked to provide feedback through the app.
